017 | Scott Kucirek Explains the Importance of Striving for a Positive Mindset

On this week’s episode, we have one of the founders of the yummy candy line, OCHO candy, Scott Kucirek. He currently runs the day-to-day operations of the company, overseeing manufacturing, sales, business planning, finance and marketing. I really love this candy! I’m borderline obsessed!

Scott shares with us the many ups and downs he experienced in his life, all while keeping a positive mindset. Scott was in the Navy, but he decided it was time to resign his position and apply to the Haas School of Business at UC Berkeley. Initially, he was not accepted, which threw him for a loop because his entire plan (at the time) had been surrounding going to business school.

Scott would not let that stop him!. He started networking with anyone and everyone who would listen, about how he didn’t get in. This networking led to some pretty amazing things for Scott, and he shares them all in this week’s episode right here!

Scott shares how taking action, focusing on the positive and doubling down on your efforts when you really want something, will make ALL the difference in how successful your business is.
