If you want to be a successful entrepreneur or salesperson, you need to have support to achieve your goals. I call this person your champion. They are someone that will root for you, keep you accountable and help you be your personal best. I'm sharing my tips and tricks to help you find that person and even become your OWN champion!

One of my personal champions joined me for this episode.

One of the biggest achievements of my professional life was getting my line of ready-to-eat meals and protein bars into the well-known national retailer Vitamin Shoppe. Michael Martin was instrumental in that endeavor, and he’s been my champion and friend ever since!

Michael joined me on Coffee Is For Closers to share his thoughts on owning yourself, staying in your lane, and remembering that what others think of you is none of your business.

But let’s be honest: most of us are a lot more worried about being criticized for speaking our truth than we are of failure itself. That’s why the fear of being judged by others is one of the biggest game-stoppers for any entrepreneur.

Being a buyer for a billion dollar company, Michael has seen his share of elevator pitches and sales presentations. And he’ll be the first to tell you that the most successful entrepreneurs out there don’t let that nagging fear of failure stop them from making a sales pitch at all.  

The ones who make it are the ones who show up, do their thing with passion, and accept the feedback they get without taking it personally. And you can do that very thing, too.
