073 | Mike Watts Lost $1.4M Which Lead Him to Work with Daymond John

In 2005, Mike Watts made his official escape from corporate America when he resigned from a very comfortable position in Public Relations with a large utility company to pursue a great product launch that would eventually make him a millionaire. Mike and his family worked full-time to develop, package, brand, manufacture and market an amazing aftermarket Grass Trimmer Head they named the PivoTrim. He grew that brand into the #1 selling product line in its category. By 2012 and with full market penetration and a plateau in growth, the Watts crew sold their enterprise for over $6 Million.

When was the last time you failed at something? Now, when was the last time that you looked at that failure in a positive way?

I believe that in every challenge we face, there lies an amazing opportunity on the other side. The problem is many of us don’t take the time to find that opportunity. Instead, we dwell on the negative and everything we think it means we fail, or someone tells us NO.

This week’s guest, Mike Watts, is a master pitchman and yet he has still experienced some massive blows to his business. Think: Having Walmart remove your products from their shelves.

However, every time he experiences as massive hit, he doesn’t let it get him down, he looks for the ways he can grow and improve his business. He dives deep and starts looking for that opportunity!

If you’re sick of the negative BS you tell yourself when you hear a NO, or experience some pretty big failures, then this episode of Success Unfiltered is a MUST LISTEN!

Enjoy, and thank you for listening and tuning into Success Unfiltered!
